Time or Countdown Errors

Incorrect countdowns or time displays are usually caused by timezone differences, device clock issues or cached data.

1. Your Device Clock Is Incorrect

If your device clock is not synchronized, countdowns may appear wrong.
Even a small difference (1–2 minutes) can cause visible errors.

Make sure your device is set to:
• Automatic time
• Automatic timezone

After correcting the clock, refresh the page.

2. Timezone Differences

ESC Card Generator uses your local timezone to calculate countdowns.
If you compare your timer with someone in another country, the numbers may differ.

This is normal — each user sees the countdown adjusted to their own timezone.

3. Cached Countdown Data

Sometimes your browser stores an outdated version of the countdown.

Try the following:
• Refresh the page
• Use Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
• Clear your browser cache

This usually fixes the issue immediately.

4. Slow Network or Script Delays

If the countdown script loads slowly, the timer may freeze or show incorrect values.

Try:
• Refreshing the page
• Switching to a faster network
• Closing other heavy tabs

Once the script loads correctly, the countdown will update.

5. Browser Extensions Interfering

Some extensions block or delay JavaScript timers.

The most common problematic extensions are:
• Privacy tools
• Script‑blockers
• Heavy ad‑blockers

Disable them temporarily and refresh the page.
