Biography
MANG & DAOU is a collaborative duo formed to represent the host country, Thailand, at the inaugural edition of the Eurovision Asia Song Contest in 2026. The act brings together two of the most prominent talents from the contemporary Thai music scene (T-Pop): solo artist MANG and singer, actor, and presenter Daou Pittaya.
Individual Backgrounds—MANG:
She is the first female solo artist signed to the independent label LIT Entertainment. She has made a name for herself in the Thai industry thanks to her powerful vocal range and her ability to blend urban pop rhythms with local cultural nuances and contemporary aesthetics.
Daou Pittaya (DAOU): He rose to fame after winning the talent competition LazIcon. Since then, he has established himself as one of Thailand's most versatile entertainers, balancing roles as a lead singer, television actor, and presenter.
National Selection:
Thailand's Chosen One—The Thai broadcaster Channel 3 held the Thailand's Chosen One gala to select the host country's entry from among ten participating artists.
On September 27, 2026, the duo MANG & DAOU emerged victorious with their song "Glinratree" (Aroma). The winner was determined using a weighted voting system: 40% from the Thai public vote, 40% from a professional jury, and 20% from the international vote. In the final, they triumphed over renowned national artists such as Gam Wichayanee and D Gerrard.
Journey at Eurovision Asia 2026:
With the song "Glinratree" (Aroma)—a T-Pop track blending contemporary pop elements with Thai sonic influences—MANG & DAOU will serve as hosts for the festival's Grand Final, taking place on November 14, 2026, at the One Bangkok Forum in Bangkok.
