Harry Georgiou
Who I Can Be
Biography
Harry Georgiou is a talented 13-year-old of Greek-Cypriot heritage currently residing in Enfield, North London. His passion for the performing arts began in early childhood, leading him to undergo intensive training at the prestigious Platinum Performing Arts school. There, he honed his skills in vocal technique, acting, and various dance styles, notably winning the award for Best Vocal Performance at a national British competition.
Despite his young age, Harry has already established a significant track record on the London West End stage. During the 2024–2025 season, he played the role of Gavroche in the iconic musical Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre. Subsequently, in the 2025–2026 season, he starred as Michael Hobbs in Elf: The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre. These experiences in major professional productions have enabled him to develop strong performance discipline and exceptional stage presence.
Outside of his professional work in theaters and recording studios, Harry leads the life of a secondary school student deeply committed to his artistic pursuits. He devotes much of his time to rehearsing complex dance routines, attending acting workshops, and practicing the piano to better understand musical structure. In his personal life, he enjoys his family's musical culture, fashion, cinema, and outdoor activities with schoolmates and friends from the performing arts academy.
His international profile took a major step forward when he was internally selected by the Cypriot public broadcaster (CyBC) to represent Cyprus at the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest. His selection followed a rigorous process that began with over 200 applicants and culminated in a final round featuring 44 performers, where the jury chose him for his vocal expertise and confidence in front of the camera.
For the contest, she will perform "Who I Can Be," a bilingual pop power ballad (in Greek and English) composed by an international team of songwriters. The song is designed to showcase the breadth and power of her vocal range, featuring demanding passages such as a prominent whistle note leading into the final climax. The lyrics convey a message of hope, self-acceptance, and belief in one's own potential—a message she will take to the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali on October 24, 2026.
