Biography

Lucas Paulano was born in 2016 in the city of Jaén (Andalusia). He grew up in a home deeply immersed in the arts and culture, where his natural pitch and musical memory became evident during his early childhood. With the full support of those around him, he channeled his vocation early on by enrolling in the Ramón Garay Professional Music Conservatory in his hometown; there, he pursues formal studies in piano, music theory, and musicianship to build a solid technical foundation for his talent.

His progress took a significant leap forward when he entered the world of talent competitions. Lucas’s national profile was cemented during the tenth season of La Voz Kids España (2025). As a member of international artist Manuel Turizo’s team, he dazzled both the audience and the judges during the live rounds by performing Spanish-language classics such as "Haz de luna," "Dígale," "Amor eterno," and Camilo Sesto’s "Algo de mí." Just eight years old at the time of the competition, he was crowned the overall winner, becoming the youngest victor in the history of the Spanish version of the show. Following his triumph, he has participated in various significant cultural and official events, most notably performing the anthem of Jaén a cappella before the King and Queen of Spain.

In his daily life away from the television spotlight and concert halls, Lucas attends primary school, balancing his academic responsibilities with daily instrumental practice at the conservatory. Those close to him describe him as an extroverted, cheerful boy with genuine charisma and a perfectionist streak when it comes to the piano. His favorite pastimes include playing in the schoolyard with friends, going on excursions through the Andalusian countryside, and improvising short melodies on the piano during his free time. Artistically, his influences range from the great voices of Spanish-language melodic song and ballads to contemporary pop. Possessing a level of performance maturity remarkable for his age, Lucas dreams of building a comprehensive music career, training not only as a vocalist but also as a pianist and composer.

His move to the international stage became official when Spanish public broadcaster RTVE internally selected him to represent Spain at the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2026. For the event taking place on October 24 in Ta' Qali, Malta, the young artist from Jaén will perform "Cuore Bello (Te quiero, te quiero)." This pop track was co-written by a team comprising Dangelo, Carlos Almazán, and Blas Cantó. The song draws inspiration from the Latin concept behind the word recordari—meaning "to pass through the heart again"—and blends a bright, energetic melody with a message about affection, empathy, and the value of shared memories.

Lyrics

Cuore bello
Con ojos de cielo
Te quiero, te quiero
Lo más bonito para mí
Cuore bello
El sol en tu pelo
Te quiero, te quiero
Mi corazón es para ti

Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello, cuore bello

Siempre volverá
Conmigo estará
Esa melodía
Que cantaba, noche y día
Ahora vuelve con el viento
Y la escucho todavía

Cuore bello
Con ojos de cielo
Te quiero, te quiero
Lo más bonito para mí
Cuore bello
El sol en tu pelo
Te quiero, te quiero
Mi corazón es para ti

Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello, cuore bello

Tengo un beso guardado en la memoria
Y recuerdo cuando yo contaba mis historias

Cuore bello
Con ojos de cielo
Te quiero, te quiero
Lo más bonito para mí
Cuore bello
El sol en tu pelo
Te quiero, te quiero
Mi corazón eѕ parа ti

Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello
Cuore bello, cuore bello

Cuore bello, cuore bello
