Growing up in a multicultural environment, she attends the British School of Podgorica, where she has just completed the fifth grade. Thanks to her international education, she is fluent in English and French, in addition to her native language.

Music, dance, and the performing arts have played an active role in her daily life from a very early age. Throughout her early training, she has combined singing and acting lessons with participation in both regional and international children's festivals. Among her recent achievements, she won second prize for Best Performance at the Ta se pesma ljubav zove festival in Kikinda, Serbia, where she also received special recognition from the children's jury and the Čuperak children's choir.

Off-stage, Mija enjoys an active childhood in the Montenegrin capital. She spends much of her free time perfecting dance routines, doing arts and crafts, and enjoying outdoor activities with schoolmates and family. Those close to her describe her as an expressive, studious girl with an innate enthusiasm for performing.

Her international profile took a major leap forward when Montenegro's public broadcaster (RTCG) announced her internal selection to represent the Balkan nation at the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta in 2026. Her participation marks Montenegro's fourth appearance in the history of the European contest's junior edition.

For the event on October 24 in Ta' Qali, Mija will perform the song "Muzika nas spaja" (Music Unites Us). The entry is a pop song that uses music as a bridge for fellowship and integration, conveying a message of unity and friendship among young people across Europe.
