Biography

Ana Stojanoska was born and raised in North Macedonia within a family passionate about the region's music, art, and culture. From early childhood, she showed a natural aptitude for singing and artistic expression, prompting her parents to actively support her musical interests. She began formal vocal and musical training at a very young age, attending local music schools where she learned music theory, sight-singing, and breath control.

Aiming to become a well-rounded performer, Ana complemented her vocal training by learning to play musical instruments and working on her stage presence. Early in her career in her home country, she gained recognition by participating in various children's festivals and talent competitions. A pivotal moment in her development was her standout performance at the 64th State Competition for music school students in North Macedonia, where she dazzled the judges with her technical maturity, precise intonation, and natural stage presence.

Outside of rehearsal rooms and television studios, Ana attends secondary school and maintains the typical routine of any young person her age. Those who know her well describe her as cheerful, disciplined, observant, and deeply empathetic. Her favorite pastimes include the visual arts, drawing, reading young adult literature, and enjoying outdoor activities with family and friends. She also dedicates several hours a week to contemporary and urban dance—disciplines that help strengthen her coordination and stage presence.

Musically, her influences blend the melodic and emotional richness of Balkan music with the production styles of major contemporary international pop artists. She is characterized by a powerful vocal timbre and a singing style rich in emotional nuance. Looking ahead, Ana dreams of furthering her professional training in the music industry—not only as a singer and performer but also by developing skills in music production and songwriting.

Her major international breakthrough came in June 2026, when North Macedonia’s public broadcaster (MRT) officially announced her selection following a rigorous in-person audition process in which an expert panel chose her unanimously. For the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Ta' Qali (Malta), she will perform "Idnata Jas" (My Future Self)—a powerful, emotionally resonant pop song by Nikola Micevski and Ilcho Nechovski that explores themes of self-acceptance, youthful dreams, and the commitment to staying true to oneself while looking toward the future.

Lyrics

Megju site stari memoari
Vo dnevnik shto go pishuvam od malechka
Sokriv kratka pesna vredna kako zlatnik
Sama na sebe kje si ja ispratam

Dali mi gi chuvash site tajni?
Takva li si ko shto te zamisluvam?
Dali najde srekjna shto te pravi?
Kade prodolzhi mojata prikazna?

Sega ja pejam na celiot glas
Mojata pesna bezvremenska
Neka me najde shtom kje doznaam
Koja kje bide idnata jas

Sega ja pejam na celiot glas
Mojata pesna neizbledna
Neka me najde shtom kje porasnam
Neka ja najde idnata jas

Moi snishta
Rashirete mi krilja
Poletajte ko ptica
Kaj shto kje posakam

Na site strani
Nad site okeani
Soberete mi sila
Za da ve ostvaram

Sega ja pejam na celiot glas
Mojata pesna bezvremenska
Neka me najde shtom kje doznaam
Koja kje bide idnata jas

Sega ja pejam na celiot glas
Mojata pesna neizbledna
Neka me najde shtom kje porasnam
Neka ja najde idnata jas

Kaj i da si
Kaj i da e tvojot dom
Svoja da si
Isprakjam do idnata jаѕ
