Biography

Beppe is a 13-year-old singer from the coastal town of Marsaxlokk in southern Malta. His passion for music emerged at a very early age; he began training in vocal technique, performance, and music theory when he was six. Growing up in a seaside community, local culture and traditions shaped his childhood, motivating him to play an active role in cultural events, school choirs, and local charity functions.

Striving to become a versatile artist, Beppe has complemented his singing lessons by teaching himself to play the piano and guitar. He has also dedicated time to honing his stage presence by attending workshops in musical theater and modern dance. Before making the leap to major television productions, he gained valuable experience competing in various regional talent contests across Malta, where he was repeatedly recognized for the maturity and power of his voice.

Off-stage, Beppe attends secondary school and enjoys outdoor activities on the island. He has a passion for the sea, spending much of his free time engaging in water sports—such as kayaking and swimming—with his friends. Those who know him describe him as a cheerful, empathetic boy who is deeply dedicated to his studies. He loves digital photography, traditional Maltese cuisine, and collecting vinyl records by international pop and rock artists who inspire him.

Musically, his influences range from classic pop icons to contemporary vocalists known for their powerful vocal range. His long-term ambition is to establish a professional career in the music industry, with a desire to write and produce his own songs that blend traditional Mediterranean sounds with cutting-edge pop production. His international profile took a decisive step forward after he won the national Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest (MJESC). This victory earned him the honor of representing Malta at the 24th edition of Junior Eurovision in 2026, held on October 24 at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali. Performing before both a home crowd and a European audience, Beppe presents a bilingual pop song—sung in Maltese and English—designed to showcase his full vocal range and convey a message of pride, hospitality, and personal growth.

Lyrics

When the world is feeling blue
There's a friend who comes to you
Tell me, are you listenin'?
Can you hear the blue bird sing?
A melody so pure, so sweet
Like magic in strawberry fields

Fly with me, oh blue bird
Take me to the moon
Glide over the ocean
Show me what to do
Singing du du du du
Your heart knows what to do
The secret lives in you
Du du du du du du
It's in me it's in you
Blue bird sing like you du do

Now suddenly all of the colours are shining so bright
The ordinary turns into a delightful
Melody so pure, so sweet
Like magic in the simplest things
Can you hear the blue bird sing?
And sing and sing and sing

Fly with me, oh blue bird
Take me to the moon
Glide over the ocean
Show me what to do
Singing du du du du
Your heart knows what to do
The secret lives in you
Du du du du du du
It's in me it's in you
Blue bird sing like you du do

Du du du…

Fly with me, oh blue bird
Take me to the moon
Glide over the ocean
Show me what to do
Singing du du du du
Your heart knows whаt to do
The secret lives in you
Du du du du du du
It's in me it's in you
Blue bird sing like you du do
